JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that treatment services are delivered with best practices in accordance with the National Code of Ethics Standards criteria for addiction professionals.  
  • Conduct screenings, intakes, orientation, assessments, treatment planning, counseling, case management, client interventions, referrals, report and record keeping, and consultation with other professional as well as case conceptualization.
  • Provide and maintain documented follow-up for clients beginning from thirty (30) up to one hundred twenty days (120) after discharge for the purpose of outcomes data.  
  • Market residential treatment program to Tennessee eligible recipients and service providers.  
  • Ensure that environment promotes emotional wellness that supports gender specific recovery environment. 
  •  Assist with providing didactic groups, morning medication groups and evening wrap up grounds, while assisting with other activities that supports the residential treatment setting. Conduct Recovery checkups on identified clients. 
  • Schedule In-House recovery support groups, while conducting drug screens, recovery checkups on identified clients and ensure that all discharged clients are connected to recovery support services that they can access within their community.  
  • Complete and attend all trainings as required for ongoing professional development.  
  • Record all unusual incident as needed and document shift occurrences in communication log 
  • Conduct prescreening on potential clients.  
  • Schedule and complete intakes and program orientation for treatment services and enter Intakes in TN – WITS Data Base System  
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:  Prefer Master’s Degree in Counseling, Addiction Studies, LPC, LADAC (or LPC LADAC track) or related field. Knowledge in Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as knowledge of pharmacology and current drug trends and related laws and a willingness to receive continuing education hours in order to stay abreast of current treatment industry trends. 

Must be able to pass a physical examination, drug test and TB skin test.  Must be able to climb stairs and some lifting.  Experience in working with women and children in a mental health and/or substance-related disorders setting, is preferred.   Class D driver’s license with F endorsement.
