This role is responsible for analyzing and improving efficiency of processes, while supporting manufacturability and production of high precision antennas. Are you ready to launch into an impactful and interesting role? We’re excited to work with you.
What You’ll Do (Essential Job Functions):
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods based on product design, materials, parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
- Partner with key stakeholders and leadership to assist in analyzing and planning workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
- Collaborate to achieve increased workplace efficiencies.
- Collaborate with management, engineering, and production to maximize manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and facilitate production process.
- Apply continuous improvement methods to enhance quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support employee training and development efforts on various lean tools.
- Participate in the coordination of equipment maintenance and repair services.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Work to eliminate wastefulness in production processes and make sure systems make the best integrated use of workers, machines, materials, information, and energy.
- Analyze operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards
- Ensure all internal, customer, regulatory and other applicable requirements are met to ensure ongoing manufacturing to the best process
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring (Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Experience with ERP systems, GSS preferred.
- Highly skilled in continuous improvement principles.
- Versed in various lean tools, such as Kaizen, VSM, 5S.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 Rev D standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a desire to build cross-departmental relationships.
- Proficient at presenting technical information to varying levels within the company.
- Strong organization skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering
- 5 years of experience in a relevant environment
- Relevant experience must include interaction with CNC Machining and Tooling Fixtures.
- Proficient in GD&T.
- Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR requirements.
- Ability to pass a drug screen per Custom Microwave, Inc.’s drug testing policy.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check per Custom Microwave, Inc.’s policy.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Custom Microwave, Inc.’s manufacturing facility is more than 56,000 square feet. Workers may be exposed to loud noises, chemicals, and other occupational hazards; personal protective equipment may be provided by The Company and at request.
- Must be able to sit in a stationary position for more than 50% of day.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery; repetitive motions include, but are not limited to, keyboarding and data entry operations.
- Must be able to intermittently stand and walk for longer than 30 minutes throughout the work shift.
- May require occasional utilization of stairs
- May require occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and crouching to access work supplies.
- This position involves extensive internal and external communication; ability to utilize a phone and convey accurate information in person, over the phone, and through email.
- Must be able to see in artificial/fluorescent lighting.
- May require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Pay range: $76,920-$105,000 based on qualifications and experience.
