This role is a key leader responsible for supporting strategic and operational product development and commercialization activities across a portfolio of products. What You’ll Do: Support effective product portfolio management (Portfolio Management) In partnership with Product, UX, Analytics, and Engineering, ensure strong alignment of the product portfolio with organizational and enterprise strategy; rationalize product decisions and impacts across the portfolio. Create sound business cases based on rigorous analysis, proposing investment or de-investment in existing products or new concepts based on enterprise strategy and market trends. Continually evaluate the customer experience as it relates to product development / commercialization and recommend improvements as our portfolio grows. Develop and maintain an understanding of CMM’s current position in the market, competition, opportunities, and trends. Drive business outcomes for assigned products (Product Accountability) Assume financial responsibility for P&L of assigned product lines where applicable, including accountability for strategies to improve pricing, profitability, and GTM approach. Ensure value prop and positioning of products are well developed, measurable, and understood by internal and external stakeholders. Develop and champion product vision, strategy, priorities, and plan to execute. Continuously engage with high-value customers to improve domain expertise, gain insight into customer needs, and represent CMM products and thought leadership. Champion a data-driven product culture, constantly using data to make decisions and monitor health of products. Represent the voice of the customer in product decisions, partnering closely with UX, Engineering, Account Management, Sales/Business Development, Operations, Implementations, and other stakeholders to ensure product roadmaps are aligned to product strategy and customer needs. Establish priorities and strike the right balance between innovation and maintenance so every team is always working for the benefit of the customer and business. Build a high-performing product management team (People Leadership) Lead a team of product leaders and product managers, focusing on goals, career growth, and engagement. Organize the team for optimal results, adapting as the business grows and changes. Manage a personnel budget for hiring and compensation. Coach to team members to improve our market- and data-driven product management practices, develop executive presence and communication skills, and master the art of influence. Encourage professional development and industry engagement, including participation in organizations relevant to product management, our customers, and our technologies. Serve as a formal and informal mentor to your team and individuals across CMM with a focus on socializing best practices and lessons learned. About You: 10 years of experience in software product management, especially in a B2B environment. 3 years of experience in delivering data insights and data-driven solutions to meet customer needs. Should have strong grasp on how insights and data integrations can be commercialized and positioned to create value for clients. Experience building and leading highly effective and innovative product organizations. Experience leading through influence in complex, matrix organizations. Grit and perseverance to embrace challenges, thrive in ambiguity, and create scalable structure and mechanism in a fast-paced, growing organization. Proven success driving strategic business objectives. Healthcare industry experience preferred. An expert communicator, with exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Devoted to learning, constantly working to stay up-to-date on our customers and industry. Able to travel up to 20% to visit customers and attend industry events. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
