Our rapidly growing medical practice that provides residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top-of-the-line care is looking for a superstar Nurse Practitioner to be part of a healthcare management group that service nursing homes in over 20 states with primary care and special needs. Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a Nursing home setting. Or a lot of RN experience in a Nursing home
- Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Valid nurse practitioner license in PA
- Master’s degree; PhD is a plus.
As the nurse practitioner at our Skilled Nursing Facility, you will be at the forefront of providing top-quality care to our residents. In this role, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team and physicians to ensure that all of our residents receive the highest level of care.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and
- prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute
- and chronic illness and disease
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with attending physicians and/or specialists regarding patient
- care
- Be comfortable and proficient with documentation and CPT coding
