Essential job functions include:
- Monitor, develop and maintain transactional financial workflow in ERP system (Sage 100)
- Answer phones, direct calls
- Primary A/P and A/R administrative duties:
- Send customer invoices daily;
- Assist with posting incoming checks and accounts payable invoices into computer system;
- Backup office administrator with generating weekly A/P file;
- Contact delinquent accounts to determine payment status
- Make bank deposits, including travel to local bank when required
- Support sales organization relating to non-technical issues. Enter sales orders and credit card transactions
- Adhere to Business Management System requirements
- Files business records in accordance with established guidelines
Requirements for the successful candidate include:
- High school diploma or GED. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Introductory knowledge of accounting, purchasing, and sales methods and principles
- Experienced in accounting transactional use within Sage 100 or other large ERPS system preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications
- Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
- Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion when dealing with sensitive/confidential information
- Demonstrates aptitude for problem solving; collaborates with others; ability to determine solutions for customers and prospects
- Results oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible/adaptable to meet changing or multiple deadlines
- Is dependable – follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan
- Ability to apply and interpret federal and/or state regulations, policies, and procedures

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
