What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Loan Processor (FT) position at CNB Bank?

Residential Loan Processors are detail-oriented and essential to the lending process. In this position, the processor handles loan documents for real estate loans and assists the underwriters, lenders, appraisers, and closing agents to finalize a compliant, timely and complete loan.

PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICE:
Residential Loan Processors are a key source to providing exceptional customer service by displaying a positive attitude and the ability to manage change.  Actively promotes and refers corporation products and services based on customers needs, help develop solutions and implement plans to exceed the customer's goals and expectations.

FOSTERS OUR CULTURE:
Possess and display a positive approach in managing change, while demonstrating excellent communication skills through effective conversations and collaboration. Be the source of exceptional client and employee experiences. Seek opportunities to support volunteerism in the local community’s awareness events, increase the bank’s outreach and foster new business.

Explore efficiencies with new technology to improve processes within the bank. Embrace advancements in banking technology and internal applications.

FOCUS ON ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL:
Prepares and tracks documents for all types of real estate loans. Works with underwriters and lenders to ensure the proper documentation has been received and completed. Reviews and transmits accurate and timely disclosures to the customer and closing documents to lenders or closing agents. Adheres to individual and team service standards, policies, and procedures.  Ensures loan packages meet all compliance standards and meet appropriate deadlines.

Takes advantage of training opportunities to advance knowledge of rules and regulations that impact the real estate lending process. Looks for opportunities to improve processes and procedures. Advancement in this career may include a demonstration of superior loan processing abilities based on established experience, training new department employees, and backing up the team leader.
Training Tracks are available to help employees understand how this job impacts other areas of the bank, provide tools to have effective conversations and be successful in a new role. Annual, job-specific training opportunities are assigned and/or available for timely completion. May require some travel.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below.  A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with related experience and secondary education preferred.  Successful completion of required background checks is required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents.  Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization.  Ability to communicate with clients directly and effectively.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use telephone systems and possess good computer skills including email, internet, and intranet use.  Prior experience or the ability to learn core transaction systems, LaserPro, Mortgagebot, statement processing systems, and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.  Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others.  Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
