Deburring Technicians are an integral part of the Secondary Operations Department. This position inspects parts and removes burrs using hand tools, grinders, as well as some abrasive materials according to vendor specifications.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Meticulously deburrs, smooths roughness and polishes product per vendor specs
- Inspects parts and forwards to Quality for final inspection
- Knowledge of hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Requires repetitive manipulation of small products
- Must possess a strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Good Communication skills
- Detail oriented; attention to detail is required
- Ability to read and understand specifications and measurements
Physical Demands:
- Frequent Standing
- Fine hand manipulation of product
- Lifting, moving up to 10 pounds
