Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions, submit PCR for incorrect work instructions, contribute to continuous improvement
- Team Player that communicates effectively with peers and business partners
- Uses existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
- Complete daily powered industrial truck inspections, daily pallet jack inspections, maintain good housekeeping practices
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, forklift, WAV, Taylor Dunn, JLG, reciprocating saw, screw gun, wrapping machine both electric and manual, handheld radio, gauges, fax machine, and copy machine.
- Utilize various hand tools such as tape measure
- Complete 21 lines per hour
- Verify part number and quantity, then shelve returns
- Pick items for production
- Help load truck and prepare items to be shipped
- Compile inventory and stock data
- Computer research and input
Requirements
- High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
- Must be able to climb, squat, kneel, push, pull, lift up to 49 pounds occasionally, and lift up to 30 lbs. constantly
- Must be able to attain a forklift license
- Work in a non-climate controlled area
- Valid driver’s license
