Position Summary:
A proctor is responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of examinations, assessments, or other activities conducted within an academic, professional, or controlled environment. Proctors ensure that all rules and regulations are adhered to and provide assistance and support to individuals taking exams or participating in events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Exam Supervision: Monitor candidates during examinations to prevent cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic misconduct.
Distribute exam materials, collect completed papers, and maintain a controlled testing environment.
Rule Enforcement: Enforce exam rules and regulations, including verifying the identity of candidates and ensuring they follow specified guidelines.
Address any violations or irregularities promptly and report them to appropriate authorities.
Assistance and Accommodation: Provide support to candidates with special accommodations, such as extra time or assistive devices.
Offer guidance and assistance to individuals with questions or technical issues.
