Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform medical examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, consultation, and health education of neurological disorders and related conditions.
  • Obtain patient histories and develop patient care charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Provides health education to families, and/or community health practitioners and groups, within area of specialty.
  • Supervise and/or coordinate the activities of patient care and/or support staff.
  • Prescribe or adjust medications.
  • Work in close collaboration with our team of neurologists
  • We plan to train the right candidate in our brand of Neurology so neuro experience is not essential.

Position Qualifications:

  • Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Iowa, Nebraska and/or South Dakota.
  • Must have excellent communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate clearly, written and oral, to patients, insurance companies, pharmacies, physicians, and staff
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, be patient focused, and must work well with team members.
  • We are looking for a good clinician who is a fast learner with a strong work ethic and a desire to treat patients ethically and compassionately.
  • Must also have a high level of comfort and become competent in working with computer systems.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $124,000.00 per year
