Responsible for safely maintaining the day-to-day operations of natural gas processing and compression facilities which will include all aspects of day-to-day operations. The candidate will also assist other operations personnel with system maintenance and performance enhancement operations. Some supervision of contract employees, making sure that materials are available, and work is completed, in a safe and cost-effective manner. There are two positions available – one day shift and one night shift. Target Responsibilities:Work safely always in unpredictable field and/or weather conditions -near rotating, large volume, high temperature, high pressure natural gas processing equipment and compression.Working knowledge of natural gas compression, dehydration, oxygen removal, and natural gas processing.Record and maintain daily records of compressors and processing equipment electronicallyMonitor plant operating parameters and adjust to maximize production.Remotely monitor operating conditions of plant production and processing.Complete understanding of natural gas processing and adequate ability to troubleshoot process plant operationally.Adequate understanding and natural gas composition, production blending and natural gas quality specifications.Continuously monitor and communicate with gas control on current state of plants as well as production stream composition pre- and post-each natural gas processing facility. Recognize, anticipate, and correct abnormal and/or unusual operating conditions. Perform periodic maintenance on equipment.Monitor and coordinate the activities of contractors and vendors.Communicate operational issues with coworkers and management.Hazard train contractors and vendors; conduct safety meetings.Communicate all safety issues to Safety Supervisor and/or management.Submit purchase order requisitions for supplies and services to maintain plant operationsComply with all laws, policies, and regulations. Maintain a work site free of environmental hazards. Promptly report adverse and/or abnormal environmental conditions. Maintain a clean and hazard free plant site.Minimum Requirements:Must be safety oriented.Valid Driver’s License.High School Diploma or Equivalent.2 years’ experience with natural gas processing preferred.Minimal 4 years’ experience in the natural gas industry preferred.Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions, shift work, nights, weekends and holidays.Working knowledge of natural gas compressor stations, dehys, oxygen removal processing system, and midstream pipeline systems.Must have to ability to be trained to DOT Operator Qualification requirements.Must be able to work a 12-hour shift that may include additional overtime hours.Must be able to work a schedule of 7 on / 7 off night shift or;Must be able to work a current schedule of 4 on / 4 off that rotates from day to night every 16 days.Must be willing to fill in for other shifts when needed and be available to unexpected and/or unplanned callouts (day shift or night shift potentially).Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.Must possess basic computer skills – Windows, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.
