Custodian

Coad of Anna is looking for a Custodian to join our team. As a custodian, you will maintain the interior and exterior of our facilities. Our external and internal appearance of the building reflects on the occupants and maintaining world-class facilities is as important to Coad as providing quality products and great service. It is important for any candidate to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will have good physical endurance to cover a large area daily. A keen eye for detail and diligence is imperative for this position.

Hiring is based on background check, drug screen, and driving record results.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition

· Performs routine maintenance activities and minor repairs by replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks, etc.

· Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out the trash, tidying furniture, and ensuring the general use spaces are clean, organized, and ready for public use

· Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets

· Cleans and services restrooms by cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, & showers, restocking disposables (e.g., soap & paper products), and wiping mirrors

· Cleans windows for both interior & exterior of buildings which may include the use of an extension ladder

· Maintain outer premises by cleaning entrances

· Report major damages to General Manager

· Undertake occasional tasks such as: shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving chairs, etc.

· Dusting furniture, walls, cubicles, machines, and equipment

· Manages inventory of cleaning supplies

Candidate Criteria:

· Proven experience as custodian or in a similar role

· Familiarity with basic handyman practices

· Attention to detail and conscientiousness

· Friendly attitude and ability to follow directions

· Must be able to work independently and with supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• No weekends
