Experienced periodontal surgical assistant/implant coordinator
Coastal Monmouth Dental Specialists/Advanced Periodontics and Dental Implants is looking for an experienced periodontal surgical assistant/implant coordinator to complement our professional and caring team. We are a multispecialty periodontics, implants, and endodontics practice using state of the art technology including laser, CBCT, digital intraoral scanning, and 3D Guided Implant surgery.
We are looking for a person with a professional demeanor and positive attitude who takes pride in day-to-day responsibilities, displays a strong work ethic, is reliable, and has the ability to embrace challenges and create solutions.
This is a great opportunity to expand your skills and take part in state-of-the-art treatment and patient care. This position can be full time or part time Monday – Thursday. No late nights, No weekends.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Assisting the doctors and hygienist in consultations, periodontal surgery, Implant surgery, and endodontic treatment
Training and leading a small team of assistants
Sterilizing instruments
Charting and recording clinical notes
Drafting letters to referring doctors
Breaking down and setting up treatment rooms
Being a patient concierge
Taking radiographs and Cone Beam Scans (NJ Xray license required)
Responsible for implant inventory, supplies, tracking labwork, liaison to implant company territory managers and referring doctors’ offices regarding surgical care and implant treatment.
Other responsibilities/tasks include but not limited to assisting other team members as needed.
Requirements:
NJ Xray License
Computer/technology savvy. Experience with Dentrix preferred.
Previous implant periodontal surgery experience preferred
