Full Job Description

Coastal Roots is a Tier 4 Adult Use Cannabis Cultivation facility located in South Portland, Maine. Our focus is on growing high quality hydroponic cannabis for sale at our dispensary location in downtown Portland. We are looking for the right candidates to join our experienced team to help in the development of our brand/business. We are happy to train individuals that will be a good fit with the team.

Core Responsibilities

General Crop Care, including but not limited to: pruning, harvesting, general scouting for pests, diseases and disorders.
Propagation of plant material from cuttings.
Cleaning and sanitizing of grow rooms, equipment, tools.
Aid, as needed, in trimming and packaging.
Conduct all tasks within parameters set forth by state law.
Help to maintain a clean and productive workplace.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older pursuant to Maine State Law..
Must currently have, or be able to acquire, a state of Maine Individual Identification Card. This requires an extensive background check conducted on an annual basis, pursuant to Maine State Law.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Agricultural or other plant-related work experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
Ability to work on one’s feet for 8 hours in a warehouse environment.
Ability to push/pull significant loads using a pallet jack.
Ability to work with hands over head for extended periods of time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
