What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller 1/ Concierge position at CoastHills Credit Union?
Summary
Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, the Member Services Officer-Concierge is responsible for overseeing the branch lobby area and greeting and assisting members and guests. Responds to a broad range of inquiries and requests from our members relating to CoastHills products and services and is given the tools to support and educate members on banking solutions and options available to them. Performs non-cash banking transactions as needed. Promotes and maintains a positive image of the Credit Union.

Education And Experience
Six months relevant customer service and/or cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
None.
Knowledge
Basic knowledge of branch operational activities.
Knowledge of Board policies and Credit Union goals, organizational structure, policies, procedures (including OPM and Employee Handbook) and practices.
Completion of New Employee Orientation.
Other Skills And Abilities
Successful completion of pre-employment testing.
Operates a variety of office equipment and machines.
Ability to travel, attend, and participate in training and meetings at various locations.

- Greets and assists members and guests in a vibrant, friendly, proactive and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
- Answers guest inquiries, answers and directs phone calls, coordinates lobby traffic and directs members and guests to the correct department or area.
- Serves as site liaison for all internal CoastHills departments.
- Provides services to members by performing non-cash banking transactions as directed by the Branch Manager, but primary responsibility will be lobby service.
- Has basic knowledge of Credit Union services and programs and directs guests to product experts.
- Proactively responds to members’ inquiries and requests using product knowledge.
- Assists members in completing forms and documents.
- Resolves member concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintains and replenishes inventory and stock of supplies, brochures, and collateral for members.
- Remains current on knowledge of Credit Union policies, procedures and services.
- Performs duties as assigned by management and may be assigned to work at any branch.
