Recruitment Director

Our client has a diverse and mission-driven culture, focused on bringing together a growing network of passionate guest teachers to connect with students and deliver a positive influence.

We have been retained by them to find a Senior Director/General Manager to take responsibility for revenue, cost management, profitability, people leadership, business strategy and service delivery of their East Coast services.

To be successful in this role you will have experience in high volume and high velocity talent operations (recruitment), ideally in Staffing or Education. You will be an experienced leader who can inspire, develop and grow high performing teams with a relentless focus on execution, quality, and engagement?

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of hiring strategies, recruitment marketing plans and utilization of recruitment technologies
• Drive industry-leading Guest Teacher recruitment and User Experience by improving performance through optimizing people, process, and technology
• Increase revenue and overall profitability of the business by identifying opportunities for growth and/or cost management
• Develop excellent relationships with customers where you are credible and trusted
• Develop a high performing team of high achievers who consistently deliver
• Communicate and execute the company vision and purpose, exceed business objectives with a strong execution focus.

Experience required:

• 10 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-growth and customer centric operating environment
• 5 years of experience in high volume and high velocity talent operations (recruitment), ideally in Staffing or Education
• Passion for delivering a world-class customer experience
• Competitive drive with a collaborative approach
• Proven ability to build and lead high performing teams
• Proven demonstration of business acumen, strategic agility, entrepreneurial mindset, and executive presence with a track record of building culture and profitable growth.

Location: You will need to be based in or around New York, be happy to work remotely and prepared to travel frequently into NYC.

Compensation: $135,000 to $150,000 basic plus bonuses (up to c$30,000) and a great benefits package.
