What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard P/T position at Cocopah Indian Tribe?
Summary
Provides Security for the Resort residents and reports fires, theft, vandalism and illegal entry by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patrols, periodically, buildings and grounds of the Resort.
- Examines doors, windows, buildings and gates to determine that they are secure.
- Warns violators of rule infractions, such as traffic violations or excessive noise, investigate and notify Cocopah Police Department of persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
- Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
- Permits authorized persons to enter property.
- Registers at guard shack to record time of inspection trips.
- Records data such as property damage and unusual occurrences.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to walk for longer periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate properly with Cocopah Police dispatch.
- Good judgement is required regularly.
- Must be able to provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Some experience in security preferred.
- Current valid Arizona Driver's License
