We are currently looking to hire a Center Director to join our South Naperville team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. This role will ideally start Immediate upon availability. This is not a technical nor a teaching role, however, candidates having experience working with families, and are enthusiastic about the mission of Code Ninjas are appreciated. We hope to find a great, long-term fit that will continue to grow our centers year after year. You will assist in keeping with the culture of our mission and establish relationships with our families and our Senseis to achieve that mission.
The team we hired comprised of high school and college age Senseis who have a passion for STEM-based curriculum and working with children. Since they have hands-on with our Ninjas in our Game Development Room, you will manage and lead them to ensure a safe, healthy and successful Dojo.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the center.
Sales - Follow up on leads, schedule tours and conduct parent information sessions, both 1:1 and in a group setting with the expectation of increasing the number of families within your center.
Assist the Area Director with marketing initiatives and building relationships within the community.
Work with parents to define children’s learning needs and manage their expectations.
Provide center tours while maintaining awareness of Ninjas currently in the center.
Engage with children and families in the center.
Engage and oversee Senseis to ensure the teams and Dojo needs are met.
Ensure the center is a fun and safe learning environment for our Ninjas.
Uphold corporate standards with respect to center cleanliness & operational standards.
Ability to think on the fly and be perceptive to center dynamics.
Report weekly to executive team on progress.
Qualifications:
Proven work history with children ages 7 and up, and enthusiasm for working with kids.
Knowledge of business operations, sales, and team leadership.
Familiarity with technology, Microsoft suite, social media, office equipment.
Flexible schedule
Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic and ever-evolving environment.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Great customer service and follow-up skills.
Must be able to lift and move at least 30 lbs.
Compensation:
Compensation will be a combination of a base salary and performance-based incentives.
