What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Strategist position at Code3?
*Note: This role can be based remotely on the west coast or east coast. This role is known internally as Account Manager.*

The Account Management Team delivers best-in-class service and strategy to Code3's varied client base. Our Account Strategists serve as the point of contact for our clients and strive to go above and beyond to support their needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in communicating with clients, comfort with managing multiple priorities, and knowledge of paid social media planning. Please note this is not a sales role.
Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence
- Supports overall day-to-day account needs including administrative and project management-related tasks that serve as the foundation of operational excellence (status docs, project/budget trackers, timeline management, internal team meetings etc)
- Plans, leads, and provides actionable follow-ups for client meetings and calls
- Participates in internal status meetings, contributing to the process and team involvement for specific deliverables
- Pinpoints and owns dedicated internal workstream and client communication for specified deliverable
- Carries out onboarding process and trainings for new team members
- Entrepreneurial Awareness
- Contributes to monthly internal ideation meetings around growth goals and opportunities
- Tracks internal budgets that roll up to quarterly projections
- Client Business Proficiency
- Provides first round campaign deliverable review for items such as media plans and reporting documents
- Understands client-specific KPIs/Objectives and ensures strategy and tactics tie back to those objectives
- Paid Social Media Expertise
- Contributes to full team’s strategic media planning initiatives, campaign recommendations and testing opportunities
- Assists in audience planning and objective alignment at different levels of the marketing funnel
- Tracks and reports on critical paid social media campaign KPIs
- Supports key account deliverables such as monthly reporting and quarterly business reviews
- Possesses understanding of and can speak to reporting concepts and in-platform knowledge
- Supports POV and Ad-Hoc project development with assistance from vertical-specific team members
- Actively shares POVs, campaign insights, partner learnings and account wins, internally and externally
Requirements
- Comfort in using Google suite: Excel, Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.
- 2 years of experience in account management, media planning and/or buying across paid social media channels
Preferred Skills
- Experience or knowledge of paid search and programmatic channels
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Proven ability to navigate client and external communication
- Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment
- Enjoys being part of a team atmosphere
