SQL DBA
Requirements:
SQL Developer with Production Support and Insurance domain experience.
- Senior Level
- Must have experience with a high volume OLTP environment.
- Must have experience with large databases, 2-5TB in size
- 100% SQL Server (2008R2 and above)
- AWS EC2 instances in all environments
- Performance tuning (indexes/slow queries)
- PowerShell/SQL scripting
- Index tuning(identifying underperforming/duplicate)
- Availability Groups (troubleshooting/latency issues)
- SQL transactional replication (creation/troubleshooting)
- Linked servers (creation/troubleshooting)
- SSRS reports (troubleshooting/migrating/permissions)
- SSIS packages (migrating/troubleshooting)
- Permissions (adding/removing/best practices/proxies)
- Backups/restores using NetBackup (we can perform on demand backups to filer)
- Code migration, data zaps
- Archiving/Partitioning
- Error Handling
- SQL jobs (creation/scheduling)
- Work on multiple tasks
- Create documentation
- Performs tasks quickly, efficiently, and correctly.
