Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Inspector to join our team. The Construction Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet all regulatory and quality standards.
Duties:
- Review construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality of work
- Inspect materials used in construction to verify quality and adherence to specifications
- Document inspection results and prepare reports for project managers
- Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process
Requirements:
- Experience in construction inspection or a related field
- Knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data and identify potential issues
- Understanding of quality control processes in construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred
