Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our CICD Platform team. You'll join us in providing standardized application development solutions such as source code management, artifact management, and CICD pipelines to our developer teams in line with company architectural and security best practices.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains the health and hygiene of CICD platform tooling through regular upgrades and deployments
• Creates and updates virtual machine and container images with application installations and dependencies to ensure standardized deployments across environments
• Uses automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible to test and implement the deployment of services in public cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Follows established operational and change management practices including working with stakeholders such as product management to plan and communicate changes
• Identifies and implements improvements to configurations or deployment processes in areas including reliability, security, cost effectiveness, and operational support workload
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience supporting production systems in an enterprise environment
• Experience administering GitLab and Artifactory strongly preferred
• Experience using Git to manage source code
• Experience with Python and Bash scripting
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as GitHub actions, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline, or Circle CI
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with Linux administration and comfortable working via command line interface
• Experience working with AWS or other leading public cloud platforms
• Experience using Docker to build and run containers
• Familiarity with application monitoring practices
• Familiarity with basic cloud networking concepts
• Demonstrates self-learning and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
