Who We're Looking For:
Codeworks is seeking a dedicated Desktop Support IV Technician to join our dynamic team. We are in search of an individual with a proven track record in level 3 support, maintenance of workstation software and hardware, and a strong background in incident and service request management. Responsibilities:
- Provide level 3 support and maintenance of workstation software and hardware.
- Support and maintain operating systems for user workstations.
- Assist with peripheral device support and maintenance (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Manage incident and service request resolution efficiently.
- Act as a technical resource on assigned projects.
- Collaborate effectively with the Desktop Support Supervisor and a team of 8 technicians.
- Balance workload between incident/service requests and project work.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral customer support correspondence experience.
Qualifications:
- 5 years or more in level 3 support and maintenance of workstation software and hardware.
- 5 years or more in supporting and maintaining operating systems for user workstations.
- 2 years preferred in peripheral device support and maintenance.
- 5 years or more in incident and service request management.
- 2 years preferred in technical assistance on projects.
- 5 years or more in strong written and oral customer support correspondence.
- Experience packaging software applications for mass deployment using management tools (SCCM, Ivanti, etc.).
- Patch management expertise.
- Imaging experience using management tools (SCCM, Ivanti, etc.).
- Learning Management System (LMS) support experience.
- Google Workspace experience.
- Microsoft's Group Policy Object (GPO) experience.
