Codex Books is an independent book retailer. We sell new and used books, as well as buy back customer's used books for re-sale. To expand our product offerings for our customers, we are a retailer of various other retail offerings and a drink bar. We're hiring Sales Specialists to help us keep growing. Responsibilities for Sales Specialist:
- Assist customers with requests in store, on the phone, and online.
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers.
- Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner.
- Keep an eye on inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
- Educate customers about current promotions and advertisements.
- Ring up customers at the cash register, take payments, and issue receipts.
- Enter products into an inventory system.
- Contribute to team's periodic sales goals.
- Keep the store and sales displays in clean and tidy condition.
Qualifications for Sales Specialist:
- Willing to work weekday evening shifts and some weekend shifts.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
- Basic math skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated selling skills
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
