Associate/Director of Admission Communication
The Director of Communications manages communication and marketing campaigns for the Office of Admission. This role collaborates with the Marketing Office on print and electronic communication efforts, social media platforms, the website and other marketing avenues for reaching target markets. Responsible for full-cycle planning and management of all recruitment communication campaigns. This position also organizes and executes the student search program internally and via third party relationships.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the content, calendar, timelines, logistics and query development for all print and email admission communications
  • Manage Office of Admission website content
  • Supervise the Systems Administrator of Communications
  • Help identify new target markets for student recruitment efforts, advise on methods for capturing audiences within new markets, and identify best markets for intensive recruitment efforts
  • Create and maintain effective modeling of scenarios that measure the effectiveness of new initiatives
  • Isolate variables within enrollment strategies to determine the impact of individual communication efforts within a dynamic approach to enrollment management
  • Analyze marketing effectiveness and return on investment for marketing strategies within the Office of Admission
  • Help identify the divisions efforts to better understand direct competitors in the field by analyzing National Student Clearinghouse data for non-matriculated admits and withdrawn students to inform and support student recruitment, engagement, retention, and re-enrollment strategies
  • Recommend and implement enrollment-related survey instruments to better understand student experiences, likeliness to enroll, register, persist and succeed
  • Collaborate with the Associate Vice President and operations staff on the student search program internally and with third party companies
  • Monitor budget expenditures regarding admission communication flow and assist with budget monitoring for student search
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Four or more years with previous admission experience.
  • Background in admission print and email communication flow.
  • Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.
  • Preferred experience working with Slate CRM system.
  • Experience managing professional staff.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States as visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
  • Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.
