Route Sales Representative
Job Description
A full-service coffee roasting company is seeking the right candidate to join our route sales team to be based in the San Angelo, Texas area as a Route Sales Representative for our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distribution network.
Responsibilities and requirements include:
-Fulfill route customer product requirements and perform basic route sales functions including order fulfillment and restocking procedures.
-Rotate stock at route sales customer locations to enhance freshness of product.
-Operate office and field-based electronic equipment for communications and transmission of orders.
-Deliver exceptional route sales customer service at all times when communicating with customers, personnel and the public.
-Adhere to company and customer policies and procedures.
-Maintain an organized route truck and follow route scheduling for efficiency and to enhance sales opportunities.
-Communicate with warehouse personnel and District Manager regarding product orders, discrepancies and/or customer issues.
-Operate cell phone to communicate with customers, supervisors or coworkers.
-Operate motor vehicle safely to travel to and from customer locations throughout assigned territory.
-Attend scheduled trainings and meetings as required to meet customer and company standards.
-Ability to lift 55 lbs.
-Must have a clear driving record.
-Ability to pass and complete pre-employment physical and drug screen.
-Route sales experience preferred.
