Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Collaborate with business analysts and designers to translate data requirements into efficient and scalable database solutions.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing PL/SQL code for performance and maintainability.
- Write unit and integration tests for PL/SQL code.
- Work closely with DBAs to ensure the smooth operation and security of the database environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in PL/SQL and Oracle Database.
Other Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a PL/SQL developer
- In-depth knowledge of PL/SQL, including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, and error handling.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and concepts (e.g., tables, indexes, views, sequences).
- Experience with SQL tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
