Work shift (days/times) – 1st Shift from 6am to 2:30pm est

Job Description:
- Performs limited electronic, electromechanical, mechanical and support production assembly and functions of a repetitive nature to build and assemble routine units.
Job Duties:
- Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy to perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly.
- Follow method sheets to ensure documented and controlled processes are followed to assemble various electronic components.
- Perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations by using common hand tools such as: Wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, plyers and using small hand tools and soldering equipment.
- May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly/production equipment.
- Notifies group leader or supervisor of quality or other issues.
- May need to complete other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have good hand eye coordination while using a microscope.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
- The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills.
- Capability to use a computer and enter accurate data. Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
- Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
- Good manual dexterity
- Organized, work independently with minimum supervision and ability to work in fast paced environments.
- Able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
