POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Market and trading systems used by the company. The systems

are both vendor provided systems and in-house developed systems. The role is expected to progressively achieve

expertise at supporting these systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role provides technical interface with software vendors. In this capacity, this individual will be engaged with the
following types of actions and activities:

Work as part of a team that supports commercial software systems for the company

Assimilate and maintain knowledge, progressively to an expert level, on systems for which given responsibility

Participate in or lead various projects undertaken by the team, as applicable

Collaborate with the team to create system support documentation

Interface with the vendors, as required, to ensure the quality of the vendor solutions, in consultation with the manager.

Achieve compliance certifications , as required, for the role and/or assigned systems

Maintain positive, enabling and supportive demeanor in engaging internal clients

Pursue proactive measures to establish functional knowledge of the Company’s business and systems

Willingness and ability to support business needs during irregular hours, weekends and holidays, as might be required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field OR equivalent experience.

• Prior job experience in a professional environment is preferred but not required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• Working Knowledge of SQL, T-SQL

• Working Knowledge of a programming language (C#.Net or VB.Net preferred)

• Knowledge of XML handling or SOAP.

• Knowledge of Web services a Plus

• Ability to create software system documentation.

• Understanding of servers and patching a plus.

• Understanding and appreciation for cybersecurity.

• Knowledge of US Power markets a big plus
