AEM Functional Test Lead

Cognizant is seeking a Functional Test Lead with 7-10 years of experience specializing in Performance Testing and possessing domain expertise in Bioinformatics.

 Role - AEM Functional Test Lead

Experience – 7 -1 0 Years

Location - Plainsboro, New Jersey

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 to $120,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Qualifications

·       Proven experience in Performance Testing and a strong understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.

·       In-depth knowledge of bioinformatics including data analysis and interpretation.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

·       Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.

·       Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

·       A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead the development and execution of comprehensive performance testing strategies to ensure the scalability and reliability of bioinformatics applications.

·       Collaborate with development teams to identify system requirements and integrate performance testing into the development lifecycle.

·       Analyze test results & identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve performance and user experience.

·       Design develop and maintain performance test cases and scenarios that mimic real-world usage.

·       Utilize performance testing tools and methodologies to simulate high-traffic environments.

·       Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to bioinformatics data processing and security.

·       Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior testers in the team.

·       Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in performance testing and bioinformatics to drive innovation.

·       Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

·       Communicate testing progress results and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.

·       Manage testing schedules and resources to meet project deadlines.

·       Ensure documentation of the performance testing process and results is comprehensive and up-to-date.
