Angular JS Lead
Cognizant is looking for a Senior Angular Developer with 10 Plus years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. The role is encouraged to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Experience in working with backend systems connecting them through Node JS / Spring Boot services or AWS Lambda.
Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Drive technical delivery for given module / work package / complete work package.
Oversee and develop components of work package / complete work package as per the client or project requirements for all the assigned deliverables.
Modify complex systems or develop new sub- systems and supervise work executed by team of Developers / Senior Developers and members from various solutions areas as required WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF delivering high quality project deliverables WITHIN THE LIMITS OF delivery timelines security and performance guidelines.
Participate in requirement gathering JAD sessions and support documentation where applicable (business functional UI usability data compliance data migration NFR 3rd party tools & products)
Raise clarifications with customer / onsite to eliminate any ambiguity on the scope of work assigned from the Client / Project Co-coordinator track to closure any open clarifications with customer / onsite understand and translate requirements into design.
(FOR ONSITE): conduct meetings with customer SME’s BA’s and architect to understand and clarify functional and technical requirements.
Lead technology initiatives incubate and build tools & reusable assets for dev / Productivity enhancement
Understand the current IT/Technology trends and analyze/identify the impact of each trend on the business segments within vertical in relation to area under purview
Create reusable assets / supporting artifacts based on the industry landscape
Identify re-usable solutions/assets which can be built within the technology unit
Co-author points of view publish whitepapers represent in the Technology Conferences/Roadshows/Forums
Guide teams to create case studies/whitepapers on application/solution/enterprise architecture / technology recommendations
Nice to have skills: JavaScript HTML 5 CSS Backbone Advanced JavaScript
Required Qualifications:
Science / Engineering graduate.
Experience 10 to 14 years
Required Skills: Node JS, Angular JS, AWS Lambda, JavaScript knowledge of ES/ES6. Observable pattern knowledge.
Experience developing applications with AngularJS 2.0 TypeScript and object-oriented JavaScript.
Experience in working with backend systems connecting them through Node JS / Spring Boot services or AWS Lambda
Solid understanding of DevOps concepts including Continuous Integration/Continuous Development d) Interacted with multiple teams - UX QA Business Analysts and driving the project
