Position Summary:

• To help deploy cloud applications/frameworks that are cost-effective to enable data and analytics products on Google Cloud platform.
• To work closely with the engineering leads & data architects to ensure cloud based applications / services are delivered successfully.
• To work in a talented team of engineers to ensure the technical frameworks deployed enables operational excellence on data platform.

Mandatory Skills:

• 3 years of IT related work experience.
• Good experience in using data and analytics products on Google Cloud Platform.
• Good experience in using Tableau and administration of On-prem Tableau environments.
• Experience in using Google Looker, Collibra, & Ataccama.
• A good track record in data warehouse design and experience in IT operations within large organizations.
• Demonstrated experience in working with complex platforms with multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Good appreciation for processes, procedures and being quality focus (must) in everything delivered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Enable frameworks inside Google Cloud Projects with data and analytics APIs  to be consumed by end users as per Google reference architecture deployed.
• Perform security administration on GCP Projects related to data Infrastructure projects.
• Perform platform administration for On-prem Tableau environments.
• Perform / participate in upgrades to APIs as need to remain within the Google supported Framework.
• Participate in process improvements and service optimization initiatives.
• Capture detailed documentation for all deployments/implementations with focus on quality.
• Deploy solutions that meets the system stability and supports operational excellence.
• Efficient tracking and resolution of technical issues with customers and partners.
• Work closely with engineering leads to ensure risks, issues are communicated that could impact delivery and provide solutions to mitigate them.
• Participate in environment reviews of Google Projects and apply recommendations provided by Google.
• Ensure knowledge transfer is delivered for ongoing 2nd level and 3rd level support of developed components to reduce the impact of application defects and associated incidents and problems.

Salary Range: >$100,000
