Minimum Qualification
- 5 years of experience developing automated tests.
- Strong experience working in Agile environments.
- 5 years of experience with object oriented programming languages such as TypeScript
Roles and Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible developing and implementing automation testing for Americas IT organization. The position is also responsible for:
- Work with product owners and scrum team to identify all testing needs and ensure they are evaluated and prioritized.
- Responsible for testing strategy including tools (Current and future) and architecture of test frameworks.
- Lead and act as point of contact for offshore testing team to establish best practices, procedures and help them grow into a high performing team.
- Ability to train others regarding automation test concepts; plus providing guidance and direction as needed
- Establish best practices, procedures and grow offshore testing team to a high performing organization.
- Creating, maintaining, and evaluation of automation test scripts.
- Creating, maintenance and evaluation of software automation test scripts
- Effective communication with development team on testing results and recommendations
- Gathering and validating application functional/performance/load requirements
- Creation and maintenance of test plans and test cases
- Management of defects within a corporate defect tracking system
- Input into process improvements regarding best practices regarding test automation
- Creation of test reports
- Maintenance of all test documentation
