Responsibilities

·       Lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions on Azure.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.

·       Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.

·       Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

·       Help maintain code quality organization and automatization.

·       Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing.

·       Analyze and maintain existing software applications.

·       Design highly scalable testable code.

·       Discover and evaluate new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

·       Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality code culture. 

·       Adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.

·       Mentor junior engineers encouraging their growth and development.

Qualifications

·       Proven experience as a Sr. Software Engineer with a strong background in Azure. with 7 to 9 years of experience specializing in Azure and possessing a strong background in the Provider domain

·       Proficiency in .Net Framework SQL C# and SQL Server is highly desirable.

·       Strong understanding of the Provider domain.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       A commitment to collaborative problem solving and quality product is essential.

·       Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

·       A continuous learner open to receiving and providing feedback.

·       A strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks undertaken.

·       Techincal Skills- .Net Framework SQL SAP C/4HANA for Utilities SQL Server

Location: Louisville – KY or Remote

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 5/20/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 to 137,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
