The Role
We'relooking foraSEO Specialist to join us on an upcoming fixed-term assignment that could go perm. We have an active client where we will lend SEO support for an anticipated time of 3 months that could extend.
This will require the ability to be on site at a client in the Dallas area for 3 days a week. If you are currently looking for an immediate opportunity and you have the below interests and experience, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who can support an active client and ensure website optimization to improve visibility and ranking in search engine results, growing site traffic, creating increased brand awareness and a positive user experience.
The skills and expected requirements are below.
Skills & Responsibilities
Previous experience and capabilities as an SEO Specialist, Analyst, or Manager
Proficient in writing XML code, configuring websites, optimizing page titles & descriptions, title tags, meta descriptions, SEO-friendly URLs etc.
Perform keyword searches to find relevant, high traffic-driving keywords for websites.
Review and analyze client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized.
Analyze keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors.
Stay up to date on SEO strategies and industry news to stay within search engine guidelines; share key knowledge and implement strategies with client
Stay compliant with SEO guidelines.
Work directly with Cognizant stakeholders as well as an end client and able to provide meaningful solutions.
Able to work within a team and independently.
Able to mentor and provide relevant training to other team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Note :
This is a Fixed Term contractual position with Cognizant with a possibility of extension.
It is a hybrid role with the requirement to work 3 days on site each week, ideally Tu, Wed, Thur.,
