Cognizant is We are seeking a Sr. Java Architect with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Nuxe Studio Nuxeo integration Nuxeo security and workflow Nuxeo configuration Jenkins Angular 10 Nuxeo AWS Cloud GitBucket JPA Postman AWS RDS Spring Boot Microservices Elasticsearch Java REST Web Services CSS and HTML. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our innovative projects and drive impactful solutions.
Location: Remote, PST Hours
Roles/Responsibilities
- Create solutions that are high-quality, scalable, and maintainable, with an emphasis on backend systems and related technologies
- Work with Business Analyst to understand requirements and perform feasibility check.
- Identify solution approach for features and enhancements
- Development for features and enhancements
- Identifying and resolving priority and time critical bugs in back-end (Java) and UI (Angular)
- Carry out unit and integration tests
- Addressing queries and supporting junior developers in PST hours.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience with Java technologies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in any Java Script framework preferably Angular
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Cloud technologies preferably AWS
- Experience in SQL development: writing medium to complex queries
- Strong experience in designing solutions on Cloud technologies
- Must have worked on Micro Services
- Must have sound experience in database programming
- Good to have experience in AWS technologies
- Should have good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good to have knowledge of Unity container and any mocking framework.
- Experience working with a Business team & Business Analyst to understand the requirements and come up with approach for features and enhancements.
Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 11/15/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $102,600 - $162,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
