Job Title: GCP Data Engineer (Hybrid)
Location: Irving, TX.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with implementation teams from concept to operations, providing deep technical subject matter expertise for successfully deploying large scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern data/analytics technologies on premise and cloud
- Work with data team to efficiently use Google Cloud platform to analyze data, build data models, and generate reports/visualizations
- Integrate massive datasets from multiple data sources for data modelling.
- Creating in data pipeline using python.
- Create and maintain machine learning and statistical models.
- Extract, Load, Transform, clean, and validate data
- Writing efficient, reusable, and testable code in Python.
Required Qualifications:
- 6 to 10 years of experience.
- Experience in working with Google Cloud Composer and Data Procs through Python.
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, BigQuery.
- Good experience in Cloud SQL & GCP platform.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive experience with databases as well as interpretation and manipulation of related data
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 08/18/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $83,000.00 – $94,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
