We are seeking a Mobile App Developer with 6-10 years of experience skilled in Ionic, Ionic Framework, Angular 9-12 and Cordova with a strong background in the Utilities domain. This role involves designing and developing high-quality mobile applications ensuring the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mobile applications using Ionic, Ionic Framework, Angular 9-12 and Cordova.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Mentor junior developers in mobile application development best practices.
• Stay up to date with new technology trends in mobile development.
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications.
• Design highly scalable testable code.
• Discover and fix programming bugs.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Provide detailed estimates of work and ensure timely delivery of features.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and implement project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• 6-9 years of experience as a Mobile App Developer.
• Proven experience as a Mobile App Developer or similar role with a focus on mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Ionic, Ionic Framework, Angular 9-12 and Cordova is mandatory.
• Experience in the Utilities domain is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
• Good understanding of mobile development life cycle and system architecture.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.

Required Certifications:

CERTIFIED MOBILE DEVELOPER (CMD)

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900.00 - 132,100.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
