What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager - Projects position at Cognizant?
The Facets Test Lead will be responsible for the Requirement Analysis, design/execute the test cases and coordinate with respective development & configuration teams to finalize cognizant scope of work and for any defects fix. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills on Trizetto applications (Facets, NetworX) and Data base Testing (SQL), as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing and sustainment of the Facets implementation, executing data loads and compare data b/w Legacy system to Facets and ensure data is intact per given Transformation logics, coordinate with multiple cross functional teams as data need including offshore. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of test strategies and plans for the project.
- Participate in scoping of project with respect to testing
- Participate in design reviews, project team meetings and status meetings to stay abreast of project including providing a status update of progress
- Review test matrices with detailed test conditions resulting in full test coverage for functionality under test
- Prepare the test scenarios and test cases and execute them in Test Management tools (QMetry) and log any defects in JIRA
- Schedule the defects Triage call as directed by PM
- Drive the defect triage meetings & get solution/ETA for the open defects
- Circulate the meeting MoM with updated defect list along with latest status and the action items from the meeting to all stakeholders
- Identify project risks & devise mitigation plans – escalate to Program Managers as needed
- Review the scenarios and test results with business stake holders to obtain signoff approvals.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years Health care domain with Facets experience required
- Strong hands-on Experience with different Facets modules such as Membership, Claims (837I/P/D & ITS claims, Benefit testing), Providers
- Experience with Facets data model & hands on experience with Data base queries
- Experience with Test Management tool JIRA/QMetry
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality
- Ability to organize and plan work independently
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
