Sr. UI Developer
Job Summary
Cognizant is looking for a Sr. UI Developer with at least 8 years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies. Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.
An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the “team” and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.
Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid)
Work Authorization: You should be legally eligible to work for any employer in the US without the need for a sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with PO, Scrum Master and GSK Stakeholders for requirements understanding
- Participate in Scrum Meetings, Stand up sync meetings with the Product Owner and scrum team members
- Coordinate with offshore team members, project manager, and deliver the User Interface development in line with the approved designs.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in web fronted development using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, RWD and Bootstrap
- Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript
- Experience in using GIT, Jenkins
- Experience with delivery of templates for content management engines
- Good understanding of design and programming patterns
- Experience in delivery of HTML layouts based on visual designs (PSD, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Good understanding of cross-browser compliance including Accessibility and SEO
- Experience with AEM platform and associated content, UI technologies (Sling, HTL) is preferred
