Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the team in handling and optimizing Tidal Enterprise Scheduler for efficient workflow automation
- Be responsible for the scheduling, monitoring, and fix of batch jobs to ensure timely completion
- Provide technical expertise in Tidal to craft, implement, and maintain scheduling solutions
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Life and Annuities Insurance
- Develop and maintain documentation for scheduling processes and procedures
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of scheduling activities to identify and mitigate risks - Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency and reliability of scheduling operations
- Train and mentor team members on Tidal and industry-specific standard methodologies
- Coordinate with collaborators to ensure alignment of scheduling activities with business objectives
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies
- Provide timely and effective communication to collaborators1` regarding scheduling issues and resolutions
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis for scheduling-related issues
Position Qualifications:
- At least 13 to 17 years
- Required skills: Tidal and Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Tidal and Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
- Demonstrate expertise in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain
- Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Show proficiency in user documentation and process improvement
- Have superb communication and partnership skills
- Display a proactive approach to identifying and addressing scheduling challenges
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Preferably have certifications in Tidal or related scheduling tools
- Demonstrate experience in leading and mentoring technical teams
- Show the ability to prioritize and deliver results under pressure
Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
