What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant golf professional position at Cohasset Golf Club?
- Assistant Golf Professional (Cohasset Golf Club, Cohasset, MA) : Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests;
- Proactive in handling all member engagements; Assist with Men’s, Ladies’, Mixed and Junior programming; Coordinate daily play and monitor pace of play, including starting each play group;
- Develop relationships with all department heads to build working knowledge of the entire club operation; Assist with all merchandising and golf shop operations including opening and closing the golf shop;
Maintain good standing with the PGA of America; Provide club fittings for members and guests as needed; Oversee Outside Operations Team, including weekly scheduling and training procedures.
- Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks : Experience providing golf instruction in group and individual settings;
- Experience performing golf shop operations, including merchandising; Experience creating golf programming to drive member engagement;
- Experience playing competitive golf; Experience coordinating golf play schedules and adjusting as needed; Experience using Golf Genius Tournament Software, Golf Genius Golf Shop Software, GHIN Handicap Programming;
Experience using Point of Scale software; Experience handling sales of merchandise and golf clubs; Experience in club fitting to provide expert level club fittings to all members & guests.
Requires three years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional or related occupation. Salary : $66,123 - $73,000. Send C.
