Shift Schedule: B Shift – 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Position Summary:
Perform mechanical assembly work of small precision spring probes.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
· Assemble small precision test probes.
· Assemble mechanical sub-assembly and top assembly components.
· Perform in-process and final inspection of all products as required in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
· Provide input for assembly improvements.
· Complete manual probe load into roll close machines.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred.
· Education: High school degree or equivalent.
· Skills/Technical Requirements: Good oral communication skills; ability to read assembly drawings, manufacturing process documents and Bill of Materials; ability to use soldering guns, common mechanical and pneumatic tools, good manual dexterity.
Job Conditions: Work in manufacturing environment with constant or intermittent noise.
Physical Demands/Strengths:
Ability to stand or sit at a bench for extended periods; bend, crouch, sit or kneel to work on a system; lift up to 25 pounds; ability to distinguish color.
Protective Devices Required: In required areas.
