What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at Coinstar?
Are you a self-starter who prefers working with your hands over being confined to a desk? As a Field Technician at Coinstar, you will have the opportunity to take on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects in a supportive, collaborative work environment.
As a Field Technician, you will drive a company vehicle to perform first and second-line maintenance on Coinstar kiosks within an assigned territory. You will perform preventative maintenance, calibration, electromechanical troubleshooting, repair, and replace worn parts using small tools and diagnostic utility to ensure kiosks stay properly functioning. You will plan and schedule your days by effectively prioritizing routes based on stats, service calls, field change orders, geography, and other tasks assigned by your manager.
Successful candidates will have:
- 1 years of Field Service experience.
- Experience troubleshooting & repair of computers, electronics, or electromechanical devices.
- Valid Driver’s License & Satisfactory Driving Record
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Organization & Time management skills
- High School Diploma or GED
Pay & Benefits:
The starting pay range for this position is $19.50-$22.50 per hour. Within the range for the applicable geographic area, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Short-Term bonus incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.
