We are seeking an on-site A/V Support Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and support of video conferencing and conference room audio/visual solutions. Think of this role as a project coordinator who is also an experienced installation, service, and event technician, all rolled into one. The primary purpose of this role is not only to exceed our clients' expectations but also to deliver a world-class experience.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a site support representative for our clients Global AV support team.
- Communicate & work directly with our clients Business Unit (BU) Administrators, Executive Administrators and End-Users to address maintenance and/or support requests.
- Perform conference room & other ancillary A/V space system health-checks to ensure proper system operation and condition, maintaining system uptime.
- Submit necessary security badge requests and/or security escort (guard) requests for addressing maintenance or support requites within restricted spaces.
- Receive, resolve & track Audio Visual & Video Conferencing hardware break/fix incidents and support requests from customers, escalate issues to proper support teams.
- Initiating the dispatch of and facilitating the on-site escort of preferred Audio/Visual Integration vendors to perform systems repair and/or maintenance.
- Track and update inventory of deployed hardware in conferencing and other ancillary A/V spaces.
- Track and keep up to date spare A/V & VC hardware kept in small on-site storage cage(s) / closet(s) for rapid R&R of hardware in production spaces requiring maintenance.
- Work alongside other A/V Support Specialists (where applicable), Vendors, Contractors, and other relevant support teams.
- Provide occasional support for Audio/Visual Projects, In-room triage support, VIP events and/or Broadcasts in defined spaces.
- Participate in Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Meetings with various support teams within the Facilities group.
- Create and maintain all project related documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
- Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years of audio-visual integration experience preferred.
- Valid and current CTS certification preferred.
- Firm understanding/expertise with video conferencing, A/V switching and control hardware (Cisco, Crestron, Q-sys systems preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License and a Department of Motor Vehicle record that meets company driving standards.
- Experience with Apple devices (Apple TV, iPad, MacBook, iMac).
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings and signal flow diagrams.
- Good understanding of network technologies and security concepts.
- Excellent hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Can work with limited supervision, direction and have a personal sense of accountability.
- Able to multitask in a dynamic environment and complete tasks on time.
- Must also have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Excellent customer service and able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels (staff to executive).
- Able to quickly adapt to new technical concepts, processes, and tools.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Climb ladders up to 20 feet tall and be le to work in small spaces and on uneven surfaces.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; reach and grasp with fingers, hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
