What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver, Double Bottom position at Coke Florida Careers?
Coke Florida is looking for a Driver Double Bottom based out of our Winter Haven location. We’re currently looking for first shift, working Thursday to Sunday.
What You Will Do:
As a Coke Florida Driver Double Bottom, you will be responsible for transporting finished goods between facilities utilizing double trailers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Transport finished goods between facilities.
Load and unload goods using forklift or pallet jacks or connect or disconnect trailers at destination.
Check accuracy and stability of load.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
For this role, you will need:
Must be 21 years of age.
Valid Class A CDL
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
1 years of CDL driving experience operating a combined vehicle required.
Ability to operate four axle vehicles.
Familiarity with DOT regulations.
Valid Class A Driver's License with double bottom endorsement and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years. *
Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card.
Comply with routing software guidance.
*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coca-Cola Beverages' guidelines to determine eligibility for this position.
Additional qualifications that will make you successful in the role:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate a hand-truck and powered industrial equipment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a powered industrial truck certification.
Utilize smartphone technology in handling customer orders/invoicing.
Utilize technology for Electronic Logging Systems and fleet management.
Experience double trailer driving highly preferred.
This role is highly physical, and you must have the:
Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance frequently
Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling; squatting; reaching above the head; reaching at the waist; reaching below the knees; and bending at the knees frequently
Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack, hand truck) containing product loads a minimum of 100 yards without assistance frequently
Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities
Ability to stand a minimum of 6 hours during the workday
Ability to walk a minimum of 4 miles during the workday
Frequently work in a hot/humid outdoor environment
