JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Title: CRM Manager (Customer Relationship Manager)
GENERAL SUMMARY:
- This team is seeking a CRM & database coordinator to help lead the strategic development and execution of our CRM & database management, workflow, and optimization. He/ She will use our client database Salesforce and will collaborate and coordinate with our admissions team.
Reporting Relationship: Director of Admission
Department: Admissions
Responsibilities: Positively support the Office of Admissions through management and implementation of technology within the department. This position requires technical knowledge of the Salesforce system, extensive data entry, organization, and problem-solving.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work closely with several groups across the organization including IT, Marketing, and Finance.
- Analyze large sets of client data to identify trends & patterns and generate insights to inform growth opportunities.
- This person should have a team player attitude and demonstrate a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly and efficiently under pressure. This role will ensure all lead generation is running efficiently to bring in new leads and drive revenue around new campaigns and initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce and subject matter expert
- Responsible for training admission counselors & other staff in CRM and ensuring that records are being updated and accurately in a timely manner
- Create and develop reports and dashboards for data visualizations to support the day-to-day needs of the organization
- Lead all efforts connecting CRM Salesforce and our data warehouse to other data sources (e.g., Colleague, email marketing, SMS messaging providers, student information system, etc.)
- Understand the sources of data that feed into our CRM system and recommend how best to collect, organize, and use this data to maximize revenue
- Design, build and drive campaigns to better engage our customer base
- Analyze performance and clearly articulate insight into how to improve engagement.
- Provide recommendations to the leadership team on how to leverage our CRM to execute the strategic vision, including prospecting and retention strategies
- Assist marketing to develop target audiences for sales and service communications (email, social, web, print, etc.)
- Own all day-to-day CRM administrative responsibilities, especially those pertaining to the admissions application, campus visit form, and user management
- Maintain data hygiene through duplicate identification and contact merging
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED:
- BA/BS degree in a relative field or equivalent work experience required
- Experience with Salesforce & building automations within the platform
- Experience working within the education industry is a PLUS
