Summary
- Operates Front Loader in a Quarry and Asphalt Plant setting for the transport of products and the extraction of materials from the material production sites in observance of the safety guidelines.
Qualifications, Education, Working Conditions
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience and/or training in operation of heavy equipment operation required
- Valid drivers’ license with ability to maintain a clean driving history required
Physical Requirements/ Working conditions
- Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear)
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain
- Regularly required to work from a seated position operating equipment for long periods
- Frequent exposure to loud noise
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles
