The Scale Operator tracks, records, and reports the volume and type of material that leaves on each truck, and maintains the scale house in conjunction with operational equipment. Additionally:
Provides up-to-date inventory reports to management, greets truck drivers, answers inquiries, and notifies colleagues when customers enter the facilities.Records vehicle tare weights and processes daily scale transactions and generates vital scale ticket information.
Maintains inventory records and produces material reports.
Reviews and updates information in automated scale weighing systems.
Maintains scale facility and scale equipment.
Additional tasks, as assigned.
Skills

Strong time management skills
Able to work with minimal oversight.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
