What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Scheduler position at Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A.?
Legal Scheduling Coordinator:
The candidate will perform secretarial, clerical, and data entry duties. Maintain attorney’s calendar. Previous experience with scheduling depositions, pre-depositions, meetings, mediations, and hearings using a variety of ancillary systems and programs is required. Document management using iManage and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe. E-file legal documents in Florida’s E-Portal System. Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials and conferences. Draft legal court documents, such as notices, non-technical motions, affidavits and subpoenas. Send out correspondence to parties/non-parties via email, regular mail, or certified mail. Communicate with opposing counsel, judicial assistants, court reporters, clients, etc. Set up Court Call or Zoom for hearings. Perform additional duties as required by Managing Attorney/Office Manager. Should have 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting. Experience e-filing in both state and federal courts is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
